Recently, the main foundation of the third coke dry quenching (CDQ) unit project for Shanxi Zhongmei Jiuxin Coking, undertaken by MCC5, was topped out. This marks the official transition of the project from the civil foundation phase to the new stage of main structure construction.

The project is located in Lingshi County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province. It will build one new CDQ unit and its auxiliary facilities. The main scope includes the construction of the No. 3 CDQ furnace, CDQ boiler, dust collection ground station, CDQ electrical room, coke transfer station, conveyor belts, as well as modifications to the associated conveyor system.

Upon completion, the project will significantly improve waste heat recovery efficiency, reduce energy consumption and pollutant emissions, and help the enterprise achieve a green and low carbon transformation, injecting new momentum into the green upgrading of the regional energy industry.
